questions about STX

Hello,

I have a couple of questions about St. Croix.

Is there an orthodontist on the island?

This next question will seem may seem odd but where I live I'm miles from everything and there is no public transportation. Do many people take a bus or taxi to work? Is it practical to walk to work if you live close? I realize it depends on where you work and live but I'd like to know what others do. Shipping my vehicle would be very expensive and I don't want to rush into buying something the first week.

There are three orthodintists in the phone book on STX.

Not having a car on STX would be possible (lots of folks do it) but very difficult for someone just arrived and without any safety net of friends. Of course, it does depend on where you live and work.

As islands go, STX is fairly large and hilly, with lots of hairpin turns and not too many sidewalks.
