I am a 33 year old, i have been working on an car assembly line for the past five years, but I have my bachelors in psychology and business. I graduated at the low part of the resection and the assembly work paid to well to give it up. while there I got promoted to lead a team of people and from there moved to an area that made repairs and checked the quality of the vehicles. i am thinking of getting my masters but not sure in what. any suggestions to help me be an asset to the island would be appreciated.

Not much in the way of manufacturing in the VI other than rum and coke, perhaps some in PR. Not a great deal of construction. Generally service industry jobs, perhaps various maintenance/repair in the trades and auto. A few jobs coming on-board for the new oil storage terminal former refinery, some of those are supposed to go to the existing residents. Most employers typically only hire someone already on island.

One of the givernment agencies was/is looking to hire someone to manage the fleet. The job should be listed on the link for VI Department of Labor posted above.

On St Thomas there are at least 2 auto parts stores - Advanced Auto and Industrious Auto. They may need managerial applicants.

It would be best if you came for a visit and talked to potential businesses. Almost impossible to find a job with your skills if you rely solely on online resources.
