I believe it's eighteen. Put it to you this way...If you are a smart 18 year old you can drink.

If we were smart at any age, we wouldn't drink. LOL

Dear Ginanosa,

It is indeed 18 but seconds to the comments from Xtreema and Terry.

As a longtime resident (of more years living here than you are young, unfortunately, and ergo ANCIENT to you!) and a restaurant/bar owner of 10 years, I've seen more than enough to last me a lifetime.

The trap is too easily fallen into by particularly young people who come here and get too involved in what is relatively cheap drinking, too often with disastrous results. You should always keep your head about you wherever you are, especially in a new environment in which you're basically "new blood" upon arrival and aren't even thinking about being "scented out" - and that's a reality, trust me.

When I came here I was over twice the age that you now are and was "scented" most vigorously. Having some heavy mileage in my former lives I was friendly but wary and was basically surrounded by good people who watched out for me. NOT that I didn't screw up a bit here and there through naivety and being too trusting...but I've heard of numerous horror stories here which could have been so easily avoided if the people involved hadn't let down their guard through too much partying involving alcohol.

Just be careful, please.
