Hi,

we are planning for the eventual move of our feline friend back to Australia.
Has anyone ever shipped a pet from here internationally? Who did you use?

Also, does anyone know if there is a USDA vet on island?

Thanks
Adam

Don't they have a 6 month quarentine for animals/pets?
I know New Zealand does.
Check with your vet or call the Agricultural Dept. to ask for their vet.
Bethany Bradford. I'll post her number for you, if I can find it.

This link will take you to all the information you need. Just scroll down to US Virgin Islands:

http://www.daff.gov.au/biosecurity/cat-dogs

From what you've said in your post you may already have all this information and are more interested in knowing flight information?

Thanks. Yeah I have the Australian requirements, I'm looking to see who to ship the cat with from here and if anyone has done it before (to any other country)
Most of the info is for taking it to the states as carry-on.

I'll see if I can find Bethany Bradford number.. thanks

Here are the numbers I have for Bethany Bradford: 340-778-0998 and 340-778-0997 EX. 241
She is based in STX but travels back and forth from STX to STT, STJ during the week so you'll have to ask when she's available on STX.
I have found her to be very helpful. Good Luck.
