after 18yearsi'm coming back to st croix. there is alot of concern regading housing, car purchase, employment etc. who ever read this - your input would be helpful in making my welcome home. I will be leaving 12-17-03 - it may seems far, but the months do go by quickly. i would prefer to buy a home, a condo, if not i settle to rent from a private home or lease an apartment. christiansted would be the ideal for me, since the church i will be attending would be there. somewhwere near to sunny isles. help!! I purchase some relocating information from st. croix and they are alot of help.

You may want to contact a real estate agent concerning the purchase of a home. If you own a car presently perhaps you might ship it down to St. Croix... if not there are several car lots on St. Croix that can assist you with purchasing a new car. As for employment - that depends on the type of job you are looking for... ie. nurses and teachers are in high demand... fire fighters or government positions might be more difficult to get right away.... what type of work are you looking for??
Finding an apartment is best done while on island - a good source is the paper - Avis.
