Had a friend ask me if I knew or could suggest someone to use as a home rental manager on stx, for an east end house. They rent long term, but apparently are looking for someone to oversee things like the lawn maintenance, and schedule and oversee any maintenance items that need to be repaired/replaced etc....as well as keeping up to date on the condition of the house with the tenant in occupancy. Not involved in collecting rent or searching for new tenants at this point though, just property management.

Don't know them personally yet but they were highly recommended and they took care of the condo I stayed at in August. I actually need to get hold of them this week to discuss possibly taking care of my new condo now that you mention it so we'll try to get hold of them tomorrow.

I do not think STX Property Management is still in business; the space they were in is for rent and one of the principals is working for another Realtor.

I received this response yesterday to an e-mail that I sent, I notice that the company name in the signature is different.
Joel Ureta is the person to speak to and he is overseas until November 7th. I will forward your email to him to ensure that he sees it.

Ah, OK. I got my folks mixed up with another that does short term rental management. Yes, I know Joel, he was our buyers agent for the condo we just bought and he is in fact off island. He is also working for/with Island Life Real Estate with Kim Lucas. We worked with Kim before she got too busy and switched us to Joel. I have not asked him about his property management status, if he is still doing that. I may see him after he returns before we leave STX, I can ask him if I do.
