Anyone know what companies offer renter's insurance down here? The usual suspects (Geico, Statefarm, Nationwide, etc.) all tell me they don't operate in the USVI.
Marshall sterling is a good broker in Gallows Bay STX
This may not apply to you, but if you own a home on the mainland and have homeowner's insurance, it will cover whatever stuff you have in a rented property in the VI. At least that's what my State Farm agent told me. As far as getting just renter's insurance... sorry, I can't help you with that one, but I'm sure someone else can.
Roadrunner -- wish that applied to me, but, alas!
Sauceress -- I'll look into that, thanks! I was hoping to find a national provider who also operated down here because I suspect it would be significantly cheaper, but I'll check that out.
AARP if you are of that vintage.
Usaa as well I think will do that.
I have USAA coverage for $20,000, including hurricanes, for $135/yr
