I'm sorry, but I don't think I understand the question. UVI has a nursing program on both STT and STX that do their clinicals at the hospitals on each island.

I don't see how one could open up a stand-alone nursing school. Wouldn't it need to be accredited by somebody and need someplace to practice? I'm not sure that there are enough people interested in nursing to support two schools on either island, even if you could get up and running.

My maybe I'm not reading the posting correctly.

thanks linda, you did read the post right ,i.m a part of this school which is here on the main land and they wanted to know if the possibilites could exists for something like that in stx, the interns would do their internship at the hospital there. the curriculum would be the same as the vi college and it would cost less.

I went to the website for the university. I seems that tuition and fees for a resident for a year is about $3800.00 without living on campus and without books.

You mean, you can do a licensing program for less?

Just curious and maybe my USVI math is way off.

Barbie: Because the hospitals andd UVI are both part of the territorial government, you are going to have a very tough time. Competition isn't really in the government vocabulary.
