And are there any specials for locals as opposed to visitors on all and/or anything. Bars, Restaurants, Clothing, Rental cars, anything???

Bill/Jon - Greenhouse does have a local following. You can rent an apartment in Frenchtown but with the dogs it may be more difficult. A studio apartment in French town runs about $500 a month. Walking to the Green House from Frenchtown late at night is not something I would suggest except in groups or with the dogs 🙂

The locals only bars/restuarants have less expensive prices so there aren't many special prices. Bartenders do have the discretion to buy you a drink and if the place is crammed with tourists will do so as a local "thank you". Most smaller stores - not KMart, etc. - do offer a discount. If you are a local 10% off is about the norm.

Pamela.

Hello,

The Greenhouse is a fun place and yes residents go there as well as tourist.

"bars and restaurants not so touristic"

Tickles, Hull Bay Hideaway, Sibs on the Mountain, NorthDrop come to mind. Quite a few places are frequented by both residents and visitors.
