WTJX sent me a free with donation stick, so I'd like to know what I can actually get on the Roku in VI. Do we get real BBC? More PBS content?

The Roku Recommends pamphlet says you get Acorn TV, Red Bull TV, and HBO Go, but do we get them here?

Thanks for any info!

You get everything they advertise.
I buy HBO and Netflix. There are multiple other options on Roku

Yes, you can buy HBO. I buy Showtime on ROKU as well as CBS, Netflix, Amazon Prime and HULU. I am phasing out Dish in favor of the Internet.

FYI Showtime is $10.99 per month. I believe HBO is $14.99 per month. CBS is $5.99. Everything is ala carte, not bundled like cable and satellite.
I am planning on getting HBO on ROKU when Game of Thrones starts instead of using Dish.

Thank you, rotorhead. When WTJX made the offer, I didn't think I'd ever get the Roku. Got it in about 3 weeks. When this government offers you something, you've got to wonder what's the catch. I'll have to let them know how pleased I am with their service.

I love my Roku and watch it frequently. I subscribe to Netflix and Amazon Prime. I like the Roku better than the Amazon Fire TV box I recently bought but they are very similar.

Roku is how I get TV. USTVNOW and Netflix = less than $40/month. There is a bunch of movie and TV channels for free. PBS, History and News, movies too.

Perhaps...if your computer has an HDMI input. But most only have an HDMI output.

KMart has TVs on sale. I'm going to get the $99 22" for a bedroom.
