Hi! The Roommates Thread is great but seemed to be getting a bit huge - so here is another...
I am looking for lodging for the summer. I am a mid-twenties graduate student from New York City looking for a change of pace for a few months (June - August).
Does anyone have any suggestions for housing? Or would anyone like to chat about going in together? I will be travelling only with my backpack and would be very happy renting a small room from someone, sharing a short-term option or really anything.

Hi Islander,
I started out pretty much open - St Thomas was winning the popularity vote, but I have always had an affinity for St Croix (long stories 🙂 ) Most leads I have gotten so far are on St Thomas - so I am leaning in that direction. I am not sure about where on St Thomas tho - ideally I will be able to get a job. Any thoughts you might have either direction would be very appreciated.
