I know weekends only this time of year, but since the hurricanes, is the road clear, is it still open on the weekends?

I just read on Facebook that the road was washed out, so, technically, no. But, someone posted that they went as far as the Frederiksted pool area and walked down to SP beach. The pool is on road past Sand Castles.

We were going to head down there this morning, but it got cool.
You know... like 78 degrees 😀
I'm sure Sandy Point is on someones To-do-list.

Last I heard, the road within the park is still washed out and the only way down is to walk the beach from the old swimming pool parking lot on the west side.
