Is it possible to walk from sapphire beach resort to red hook or does one have to take a taxi?

Hi Kathy:
You CAN walk but its a bit dangerous being there arent sidewalks . Theres a white line painted where the traffic cannot drive but I wouldnt chance it. Taking a taxi is your best bet.

I have walked it - once. LOL. Didn't think it would be as far as it seemed. It is possiable but as noted no sidewalks so be careful walking particularly along corners and don't walk it at all in the evening or night - where cars might have a hard time seeing you. Best bet is to take a taxi.
