Saving money when shopping online....

Along the lines of online shopping (with it being such a big issue for islanders and although I'm not one now, I will be soon!! Early July specifically - after years of stalking this board, PMV's, and daydreaming - I just secured a position on STT w/ Schneider Regional - thanks to everyone for a great message board, invaluable information and dynamic personalities!!) 🙂

Anyway back to the point of my post - I never buy anything without checking for valid promotional codes first - to save either a percent off, or to get free shipping, or sometimes both - I check these two websites and search for the retailer I plan to shop with -

www.retailmenot.com

www.promotionalcodes.com

I'm sure there are more sites, but these are the only two I have used and I've had pretty good success. Quite often you have to try a few different codes before one will work, but sometimes you can use multiple codes and save quite a bit.

Congrats on the job!

Most folks here would gladly pay non-discounted online prices, but many retailers won't ship here, and if they do they often charge exorbitant international shipping fees because they want to discourage Caribbean business. There are some notable exceptions, and you can find a list of them if you search this site.

i've definitely used those sites before. most places let you use multiple promo codes, and i have gotten $$ off, free shipping, and free items in one order from Victorias Secret by doing just that!
