Hi all,

We are considering a move to STX, but need to know about schools. Also, our son has very high functioning autism, he has no special education plan at present, but not sure if there are any schools better than others at accomodating differences. He goes to a montessori now.

Hopefully you'll plan a dedicated PMV before making any final decision about moving here, particularly given the situation with your son. You need to see schools first-hand and during regular sessions. Good luck!

My PMV hinges on how well my phone interview goes today.....If all goes well, I probably won't be able to see schools in session before my decision would need to be made (assuming they are out for the summer right about now?). We are prepared to justify the cost of private school (no state tax) if need be, and also would consider homeschooling as well. Those are choices that may need to be considered even if we stay put.
