Hey, found a 2000ish Honda XLR 125 es for sale. It's in this weeks Trader. Too small for me, she's asking $2000 prolly worth $1400, or $800 stateside.

When I arrived here, people assured me that motorcycles are permitted to ride down the centerline. I was amazed, and checked it out in the VI Drivers Manual: there is no such allowance. On the other hand, whatever law is not enforced may as well not be a law, and apparently the police either a) think such operation IS permitted, or b) recognize the futility of pursuing a motorcyclist down the centerline in heavy traffic. As a former motorcyclist, I think it is incredibly reckless of a motorcycle operator to drive down the centerline. I don't wish them ill and I even hope they survive, but anyone who drives like that long enough will ultimately have their luck run out.

10 years and counting on STT down the middle for me....I believe that the 'luck' that a rider has is determined by their riding ability and how much 'safety' they practice...JMHO.

All the safety measures you take will not avoid the irate guy from opening his door as you try to cut to the front of the line.

But quick reflexes, due to heightened awareness, will help you to lock both front and rear and hopefully avoid this...in my ten years, I've never seen it happen...to me or anyone else...
