Yet another reason to spay/neuter your dogs, report any stray dogs to the animal shelter, and be mindful of beach activities where turtles may be nesting. US Fish and Wildlife is doing their best to trap all the wild dogs around nesting beaches but every little helps. The situation is unfortunate, but hopefully the turtle will recover successfully!

Thanks for that. There used to be a bunch of dogs at Grapetree beach but it's much better now. NoGrape tree turtles hatched last night before midnight but the moon was incredible.
