Hello there folks! A good many of you have supported me in starting first a small business, and now moving towards a larger one. I believe there are a number of folks who understand the dream, and why it will work.

In short, between now and the time that the land developer and new nursery and botanical gardens are done, I am trying to finance everything on disability as the mainstay.

As disability (and 5 years without as they lost my file), my credit was destroyed, and conventional loans just will not be an option, even with over 60% equity in my home.

For those of you whom have spoken with me and share the dream, I am asking you to help me network to keep afloat until the move to the new botanical site.

If anyone has any ideas, or can help with me bringing in more people to handle the now 5,000 plants, it will get me through until the Small Business Association kicks in. I will enter into written agreements, understand interest or even partial ownership in the new business.

If anyone understands this whole situation, and wants to become involved or has an idea, I am wide open. Due to the physical disability, I can no longer wait for the SBA as this number of plants is slowly destroying my spine.

Please write me at Affiliationllc@aol.com, or call at 513-7941.

Thanks once again for all of your support to date to make this dream come true. I/we are almost there.

Warmly,

Dan Gilbride

Hello there again! I read the post and realized I was not specific at all. Several members of the posting group also let me know. In turn, I will try to clarigy below:

1. I am looking for financial backing for the transition from a home nursery to a new botanical garden/education center/nursery with both indigenous and rare tropical plants. What I will need is approximately 10K, and can offer via an attorney repaynent with a decent interest rate in one year, or a 10% partneship in what I expect to be a very profitable situation. This will cover the period of now through the transition until the doors open at the new nursery, the Garden of Croix.
2. I am also looking for people who respect and love plants to assist in anything from transporting some 4-5,000 plants from my home nursery to the new nursery, sort of like a caravan, and as an ongoing support, to assist for even a couple of hours per week in setting up the rain forest garden, the orchid house, the general store/plant supply store, the rose garden , the education center, etc. Although initialy I will not have the funds to pay for this, I can pay in 'plant dollars' that will enable you to choose plants as a thank you for your support.

If anyone can help, or knows anyone who might be interested, please let me know. Please do know that my credit was destroyed when I was hit by the truck, and spend several years with no income at all. For this reason, I cannot use conventional routes of getting a loan.

Thank you to the good people that have helped me with telling me that I was not specific enough in the posting above, and for anyone who can help. PLEASE just sent me an email at Affiliationllc@aol.com. You can also call me at 340-513-7941 and leave a message. Most of the day, even though I work slowly, I am often covered with water and soil, and therefore cannot keep the cell phone on me. I will call back just as quickly as is possible.

A warm thanks to you all again. I know that this new situation will work, as at the home garden I have already built a wholesale and retail customer base that is just wonderful. The expansion will only increase the terrific people I have already met, and to the people I hope to meet in the future,

Daniel Jude
