Good evening! I left STX in June and unfortunately took a job in the states and can't return. Has anyone had experience selling a vehicle while off island? What do I need to do or who do I need to contact? Any advise is much appreciated! Thank you!

If you have a friend on island who'd be willing to advertise and sell it for you, you would give him/her Power of Attorney solely for this purpose and of course provide whoever with all the necessary paperwork to effect the sale. If you don't have anybody here who'd be willing to do it then probably your best bet would be to contact a local dealership. Obviously you won't get as good a price as selling it privately but they have people to take care of all the transfers.
