Hi, I have an interview for a job in st croix this week. I would like to accept the position if offered but I have a 3 month old son who is deaf and will require audiology services (he already has hearing aids) and we plan on pursuing a cochlear implant at a year old. Is anyone out there familiar with the resources for deaf and hard of hearing kids in USVI? Do they offer deaf education in public schools?

I recommend you contact Judy Hirsch, audiologist for VI Ear, Nose and Throat. http://entvi.com/index.html. She has been on St Croix for quite some time and should be able to give you some help. They don't do cochlear implants in the VI as far as I know.
