Shelter kittens

The shelter here on St Croix has the CUTEST kittens up on Petfinder right now! I wish so badly that I were in a position to take one (or more), but I'm still living on campus, and no guarantees that I'll be able to have a pet when I move. And as overpopulated as this island is with strays, I know many of them will end up put to sleep. The sad eyes on the little one that looks to be a Siamese mix, labeled Simi, especially tear my heart out.

So if anyone is considering a pet here, please take a look at the Animal Welfare Center.

I just moved in a few days ago and I promised my little boy we would adopt a kitten and puppy when we arrived. I hope to get over to the shelter before the month is over. We're excited!
