Hello all,

My dh and I want to pack all of the possesions we are taking with us into a 20' shipping container and have it shipped to STX when we move. We seem to be having problems finding someone who will drop the container at our current home, pick it up a few days later and ship it to its destination...

Does anyone know of a co. that coordintes this type of thing, or perhaps provides the service directly?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Susan

I would ask a moving company in your home town. This reminded me that there was information on a new container tax of (I think) $50- 100 per container, based on size. More expenses to add up!!

Hello Nasus,

Try Managed Freight on St. Croix. They work with various shipping companies stateside so will be able to work the details out with you on that end and will take care of the receiving/delivery once on St. Croix if that is what you are looking for.
