I called tropical shipping and got the pricing for shipping the car. But when it gets back to flordia, ????

Do I need to pay any taxes or anything once it gets there? Do i have to get it taged? or can i wait untill i drive it back to kansas?

Moving, we just went through this - call Tropical back and make sure about the taxes - but our VI plates worked just fine until we had been settled back in Arkansas for a couple of weeks and had time to get it properly licensed - although the state trooper who stopped me just did so because he didn't recognize the tags and then was curious as to "how the car got back from an island"...I had to give more of an explanation of my life than I thought was warranted 🙂 ....laws vary from state to state, but you usually have about 30 days to get a vehicle licensed in the state it will "live" in.

That's funny 🙂 thanks for the help. Did you have to pay import and road taxes when you got back?
