We are thinking about shipping our Harley sportster to STX. Has anyone done this before? Any problems? Do you know if the foreign tax is still applicable for bikes and how much it is? We also have a Yamaha and are considering shipping it as well.

Any advice is much appreciated!

Thanks,
Mary

Don't know about shipping but I can tell you that there's a group of cruiser bikes that end up at Coconuts on Sunday early evening. There's also a group of sport bike riders that get together to ride Sundays too.

You need to have it crated for safetys sake. Sportys make a good island bike. Brought my 07 Street glide down. Just keep on top of the maintainace , they will rust. Bring a really good cover.
