Hello, I am looking for suggestions on movers that will drive my stuff from Fla. to Ca. I need a reliable company that can off-load from my 20' container to their truck and get it to California.
Any suggestions and/or experiences with any companies are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think you'd have more luck asking people in Florida or California. Stateside moving companies don't operate down here. 😉

Yeah, I just figured that given the recent wave of people leaving STX someone out there might have a bit of constructive advice.
There has also been a recent wave of newcomers who might just be able to suggest a good long distance mover.

DG...is the container going to FL from STX? If so Bob Lynch Trucking can arrange to have it shipped straight through to CA without having to unload it in FL. If shipping the container to CA is not an option they can certainly arrange to do the transfer in FL with a major moving company. I've used them three times for over the water moves. They are awesome!

Try U-Ship. It is part of Ebay. It is a clearing house for truckers. You can do it a couple of ways; You state how much you will pay and see if anyone will haul it for that. The second and fastest way is to state what you have and they will bid on it. You can also see their ratings. I had a trailer moved between states and was very happy.

You can also contact Barry at Flemming's and have him arrange the whole process.
I believe you are better off having things brought down by a STX shipper than sending something down. That way they are looking it to arrive. If you send it, it may get lost and will be up to you to start the search.
I had a piece end up on STT by mistake.
