Hello everyone!

A while back I posted about using the US postal service to ship my belongings to STT.

I am very happy to announce that after 4 weeks, 3 of my boxes have arrived safe and sound all the way from Washington state. If anyone wants any specifics of weights, insurance, etc., let me know.

Cheers!

Pink

Thanks for the info Pinkcoconut!

We shipped our boxes from PA two and a half weeks ago and have been anticipating their arrival. Now I know I can relax for another week before I return to stalking the postman!

Allison,

No, I wouldn't worry yet. The post office said my boxes would take 3-5 weeks to arrive and I know the east coast is 1-2 weeks. The post office told me that weather may delay them longer and that they wait for the ships to be full before leaving. My packages took 4 weeks even with the storm. I still have 3 more packages which were mailed later and and I am waiting to see when they get there. Good luck with your packages and let us know if or when they arrive!

Pink,

Did you forward your mail yet? I forwarded mine from Chicago at the end of July and have yet to get one single forwarded item! I called the USPS Monday about it and they told me they would have the Chicago PO call me back but that has yet to happen. I never realized mail could be so slow!

On a good note, we did get a slip for one box today!! Our stuff is coming and it's going to feel like Christmas when we get our boxes!!

Hi Allison!

To answer your question, no I have not forwarded my mail at this time. I am not moving until the end of September and will have family send my mail to me until it is forwarded. Good to know it takes soooooo long!! Did you ship your boxes in July also? Let us know what shape they arrived in and also how long it took please.

Thanks!

Cheers!

Pink
