Buyer beware!! Before shipping with Flemings Transport get a firm quote in writing ahead of shipping. Otherwise be prepared to be ripped off and be left in the dark. It took 5 weeks for me to get a price on my shipment after he had promised me a price by the end of the day he took posession, and was about 3 times what I was lead to believe it would be. Thoroughly disappointed. What a crook!!

I think that most of us who have done business with Flemings Transport have been happy, me included, although that was 6 years ago.

I suspect that they charged you the correct price for the move, but they did not manage your expectations well.

So... you let someone take your stuff away without getting a firm quote first?! *-)

I used Fleming's 11 months ago and was thrilled with their service. Barry Fleming even met me at the airport late in the evening, car keys in hand.

We also had an excellent experience with Fleming's last January when moving to STX from Ohio. (tu)(tu)

About 3 times what you expected to pay? I don't mean to be harsh but get used to this, it will be a recurring theme if you are moving from the island from the continent! EVERYTHING is about 2-3 times what you'd "expect" to pay!
