Just starting a new thread on this for Cnoelle, Anna and dayfid, etc....

One of the more interesting things about life in the Virgin Islands (to me) is the vast variety of people you will meet. In the states, most of the people I knew were pretty close to my age and socioeconomic situation. Here I know people who are uneducated and overeducated (!), much younger and older, all shades of skin pigment, from the four corners of the earth. I think that the short term youth (the folks here for a season or so) may keep to themselves a bit more, but I could be wrong about that. Young or old, it just doesn't matter...

Hi East Ender!

I am just really looking for a lovely, down to earth place to spend my life. I am in my 30's and have found that alot of what I want is not on the mainland. I want to meet people from all parts of life and diversity. I have had my fill of the boys "trying to get some". I know not all men are like that, but again, I live in Vegas...lots of boys coming and going...with their stories...boring!

I know everyone says this...I just want to find a few good friends and put my toes in the sand.

I love this board..everyone says what they are thinking!

Lots of boys (young and older) coming and going here, too. You will hear all the sayings: "We're here because we're not all there," "A sunny spot for shady people," and "A place for all the black sheep of white families." Of course, the "goods are odd" one has already been mentioned. Again, it all depends on what you do with your life. It is hard to soar with the eagles when you spend your time with turkeys, or something like that! 😉
