Does Sirius XM work in St Thomas? I'm getting conflicting info from their website.

The USVI is not part of their targeted market. Although we are on the fringe of their transmit footprint. Five years ago I rented a few cars on STT that had XM radios. I was able to receive their signal once in a while. I live on STX where reception is even worse. If you don't already have an XM receiver I suggest don't waste your money if you want to use it down here.

I have the receiver and have been a subscriber for about 11 years. I was hoping it would still work because Ive had it for so long. I'm spoiled with my commercial free music!!! Oh-well, I won't be spending anywhere near as much time in the car down there as I do here, so it won't be a big deal.

I subscribe to the SiriusXM internet radio service. I listen to it in my office, at home and in the car and boat on my cell phone. The hard wired car receivers don't work very well here.

We also kept the internet service and listen at home through a good set of wireless speakers, and on the cell or laptop when out or traveling.
