Day 3 with the Dynatrap and what an incredible difference it's made. Yes, there are a few moths in there but the mosquito debris is plentiful. The few moths (and lots more critters) would otherwise have croaked from toxic spray so I'm not losing sleep. I sat at the computer last night without one mossie hovering around and likewise this morning when I would normally have zapped a dozen or more. Oh what a relief it is!

OldTart, are you using the DynaTrap indoors or outdoors?

Outdoors. You don't want to place them inside or close to the outside area where you might be socializing as the light attracts the bugs and you'll be surrounded!

We have had almost none out East where we're at. Last year at this time though they were terrible! Turned out they were in our cistern and the mesh screen had fallen off. We replaced that and have been diligent using our zapping racquets (the Jolt) and the numbers have gone way down. They're still around but not terrible.

Btw I highly recommend the local carib lime body spray by Itiba as a personal repellant. All natural, local ingredients, not oily, it smells good, and it WORKS. I use it every time we go to an outdoor restaurant now before we leave the house. She can't market it as an insect repellant (can't make claims and all that) but I know lots of people including me who swear by it.

Those Off! Clip ons work really well at keeping them away, but they can be expensive to use every day. Used one on my desk last week, and nary a skeeter entered the force field!

I sleep under heavy bedding (quilt) with fan directly in my face to keep them out of my ears when sleep. Having multiple portable fans throughout the house keeps them from getting in your zip code.

Still thrilled with the Dynatrap! I was going through at least one extra large can of Raid every week as well as one mosquito coil outside the door every evening. No more coils and only a quick squirt of Raid to zap an errant mossie less than 1X daily. I feel Davey Jones sitting on a cloud joining me in a chorus of, "I'm A Believer" ... :D:D
