The caterpillars we saw today are about an inch long and orange. Does anybody know which potential butterfly this is?

Thanks!

Likely the Gulf Fritillary (Agraulis vanillae). Have lots of them in my yard now enjoying the flowers. Haven't seen the caterpillars (only their chewings) but they're bright orange, about an inch long.

Thanks. That's what I thought they were, but haven't seen in a long time. These were in the fountain at Yacht Haven Grande St Thomas.
