Something interesting.... (like what?? interesting fact, interesting person, interesting history???) most things will be written facts and will be in some quide. Give us an idea of what you found so far that you consider interesting but I quess not interesting enough.

Charlotte Amalie was onced called Taphus meaning having a lot of bars or taverns.
Hamilton on the $10 bill lived in St. Croix
The USA paid 25 million for the USVI (one of the largest sums they paid for any lands)
The US Navy ran the USVI when the USA first owned the islands.
Residents are Americans but cant vote for president.
Our senators salaries are one of the highest in the nation, however the government is always strapped for $$.
The only animal that is original to the islands are bats. Other animals apparently were brought in or got here another way.
There are deers on the islands.
The population of the islands is scewed to the extent that a greater percentage of the islands population were not born in the islands however came from one of the other Caribbean islands and settled in the USVI.
Pirates once favored the USVI as a watering-hole hang out area.

Is that what you are looking for....

I have one or two.
There is a fourth US Virgin Island called Water Island.
During WW1 and WW2 there was research on chemical weapons on Water Island.
Blue Whales tour by the islands and I have recently heard their calls while scuba diving.
(even though they were miles away)
Hitchhiking on St. John is an acceptable means of transportation and many drivers pick up hikers. There hasnt been a murder on St. John since the 1970's.
Is that good?

For more information about Water Island and for a picture of the Fort that is there - you can go to the Water Island Guide that is on this web site. (Scroll to the top of this page and select Water Island). Water Island actually has a very interesting history, it is included as a subtopic of the Water Island Guide.

I was told that between STT/STJ and STC is one of the deepest parts of the ocean where some of those famed blue whale and giant squid fights are supposed to take place in the dark of the ocean. They call it the deep blue because supposedly you are scuba diving and you look down and all you see is light blue water(it is so clear that you see so far into the deep.) and some people have lost track of how deep they were because the kept swimming down and eventually passed the point of no return. The blue marlin breeds in the area also....I am sure you can find more legends and info on the net.
