For those of you that weren't here back then, here's a great video by Chris Hanley depicting STX right before and after Hurricane Hugo 26 years ago, in Sept. 1989.

It's been up there for a few months now. Kind of eerie looking at my future house before the hurricane hit.

I originally posted that video back in September.
Scary video for true, a must see.
Kudos to Chris Hanley for putting it together.

Do you live in that house in Herman Hill? Been to many, many great dinner parties there over the years. I sure miss Jan.

OK. Sorry. The first 20 minutes of the video was taken at his mom's house on Herman Hill.

Just pure devastation. Saw my future condo, windows blown out and flooded parking areas was the most, but the other locations around the island didn't make out so good.

It would be interesting to see video from some of the same vantage points now.

Hello I lived in the house at the end of the video. Judy and Mike owned  the house, I lived in one of the Apt. I left St. Croix In  July of  1989 I wonder if the house is still there. I remember Judy did my horoscope, they were very nice people.
