Hi,

I too am planning my move down...can anyone send any tidbits of info regarding living on StX? Good, bad, indifferent...I'll listen to it all!

I am planning my move to St X, and will be looking for a house on the 26th of October. I am leaning towards the WE, as it is still quite affordable, and I am able to find some fixer-uppers as well.

Any words of wisdom for a 40-something independent single girl?

Thanks!

Hello Krista,

Scroll to the top of this page and click on Home. And then from the menu choose 'What to Expect'. There are 40+ stories there written by people that moved to the VI or did Pre-Move visits and they discuss their thoughts, experiences, suggestions. I think you'll get a lot of insight there.

Lindsey,

It depends on what you are looking for and your rent budget.

I do have a couple of 2-BDR, 2-BTH condos available in the next few weeks. One is at Schooner Bay in Christiansted for $1800 per month. The other is at Pelican Cove, west of Christiansted, for $2800 per month.

Generally if you need a house or condo priced less than $1200 per month, you can find those in the newspaper or through word of mouth once you are on-island.

You can reach me via email or private message if you have an interest in either of the condos I have available. [email protected]
