St. John Cell phone provider?

Hi there! I'm moving down to St. John in October and am trying to find out some info on the local cell phone provider. I am having trouble even locating the name of the local provider when I do a google search, all that ever comes up are questions that people ask about if their provider will work there (Sprint, Verizon, etc). This is not the information I am looking for. If anyone could even just give me the name of the local service, I'll take it from there. Thank you! 🙂

Thanks....I was told that it wasn't one of the the normal cell providers, something about an Island phone? I know it's not At&t, even though I do know that At&t works down there.

Innovative is the local phone company. They offer both land and cell service.

Choice is rife with problems. Strongly suggest you stick with AT&T if dependability is important to you.

Where you live may dictate which provider is best for you. Find out whose towers are in your area if living on St John.

Att and Sprint are the main two. But Choice and Innovative are the two local services available. And you might want to wait until you can check from where you are living before you do a contact with anyone. At&T has some newer towers so their signal is much better than it used to be, but they still have some areas where you don't have signal. I have Sprint, and it is usually pretty good for me, but I spend almost no time on the east side of the island...where Sprint has poor signal.

I live in East End STJ.
WE use ATT & Choice.
ATT is fastest most reliable mobil most expensive
Choice is reliable in Coral Bay, mobil as well. Less $$.

Depending on your location, you may need a cellular booster to make/receive from calls within your house. Wilson is the best. You can self install or hire a certified Wilson installer.
