this is sad.....i am sorry you went through this....I AM STILL GOING BACK TO ST THOMAS though...
i think it is OK that you posted it...this at least informs people as to what can happen if you are not really really careful...so thanks for that...i might even decide to take taxis this time to be safer

when i was there in sept we heard about some robberies of local restaurant workers but that was late at night after customers left

none of this would stop me from going to paradise....just be careful as you would any place else
