Statue of Jesus

*Which island had the statue of Jesus until it was blown down from a hurricane in 1995. This Island is also called the City of Love by locals. Thanks!

are you speaking of "Christ of the Caribbean" which was located atop of the hill by Hawksnest Bay on Sty John?

Adianna is right.... The Statue was up on Peace Hill. There is a sugar mill there and a sign about the statue. So it would be on " Love City " St. John!!!

It's very sad that St. John lost the Christ of the Caribbean statue. It was very symbolic of the island community. Hopefully, someone will fund the re-building of the statue, however, I don't think the national park will do so-not enough funding.
