i was thinking of moving to stx but it does not sound safe..
its got me thinking of not even going for vacation...
Yes the article linked is very upsetting. Like it or not, the high crime rate does impact people's decision to vacation or relocate. At the end of the day, I "feel" much safer in the VI than some other islands or Mexico. But still, the statistic is unacceptable for a US territory.
