There are active plans for a bar, food trucks, and 5 eco housing units (fancy tents) on Coakley Point on STX. Road access will be from East End Road. DPNR will approve plans by the end of August since the project is considered low impact.
Anyone know more about this?

My understanding from a neighbor is that bc the proposal requires only a minor permit, neither a public hearing nor an environmental study is required. Last day to view plans or submit letters/petitions is August 18, at the Frederiksted DPNR Office of Coastal Management ( next to the police station). Mailing Address is:
