Today it's Royal Caribbean's Explorer. Tomorrow Disney Magic. And Friday, Celebrity's The World. Then a few others later in the month.

The website is gotostcroix.com
It is done by Wendy and her staff. There is a webcam next to Rumrunners and one in Fsted at Beachside cafe located in Sand Castles.

This morning the Disney Ship came in and played a Mickey tune on its horn. I walked down to the pier and all looked great, lots of excitement in the air.

I heard they didn't do anything for the Disney ship because of the party in C'sted, is this true? If so they really dropped the ball. We only have about 7 or 9 of the Disney ships coming this year, we really need to impress them all.

totally dropped the ball, no band only one moko jummbie and the beaches were full , i mean full of trash from the week end parade, now town was spotless, but the beaches had cups and styro foam every where, just a shame , theship" the world " is here today for an over night stay.

Islandtyme - you can visit the Cruise Ship Schedule page on VInow.com. It initially shows all islands together, use the buttons to show each island's schedule by itself.

Thanx Islander - U ROC!

Agreed the island wasn't pristine 🙁
Hopefully this shall be addressed and nxt yr after carnival the island will be groomed for ship arrivals.
A party for every cruise ship??? Grant it, it would make an impression...............reality you live in ..... need I say more!
But we can be great hosts here party or not!! Just show everyone a smile, greet them warmly & treat them well........it works!

Total net worth must be 5 mil. to live aboard. Of course they could rent out those rooms to someone less fortunate. From the same show I watched, it looked like the men on the ship loved to play golf and a golf pro is always on board. You should scope out the golf courses to see where they are.....

Anyone want to donate 5 mil to my net worth so I can buy a place onboard? Anyone?
I checked into a short term rental onboard and the smallest "studio" is only $1,800 a night!! I guess I'll stick with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity for now!

Re: Disney Visit

We were down near the pier and there were lots of families who seemed very pleased to visit here. We heard lots of steel pan music coming from somewhere, plenty of vendors, lots of student greeters with smiles, at least six jumbies near the ship and a visit from the governor who greeted many visitors and shook hands with whoever was within reach. We were impressed with the politeness that we experienced in downtown Frederiksted. A group from the ship passed us while walking and we overheard a man and woman commenting that on other ports of call on cruises they had never been welcomed so warmly. Every child that we saw coming from the ship was smiling.

It made us proud to say we live here on St. Croix...........
