Hi all!
I am in need of finding a good dentist on STX. A friend of mine there is in dire need of some work done. Also, I would like to know does anyone know of what insurance company over there offers dental insurance? And lastly, do you know of any dentists that will accept a payment plan as this person does not have alot of free flowing cash~I will actually be trying to help. thanks so much everyone!

Dr. VanHeckman is who I use. He's at 692-9800.

I also use Van Heckman. He's pretty expensive (compared to what my stateside dentist charged), but he's good.

I gave him a call & got some price quotes...to me, he is not bad compared to what the surgeon I work for charges or are referring doctors. But, Van Heckman does not offer general anesthesia...so my friend will have to get impacted wisdom teeth done under a local...glad it's not me!

I used Van Heckman and he didn't accept payment plans. He made me pay it all in full. My dental insurance couldn't be used as payment either. I had to pay in full, then get reimbursed by my own insurance company. He also didn't take any xrays before he started filling a cavity he saw.
