Wait, trw, you got jumped and stabbed some guy in the face? Are you serious? I think I read it right . . . no way!!!

Also, congratulations on the new job! I hope you love it AND I hope it's not their turn to get robbed. How spendy are bullet proof vests, anyway?

TRW, Stanford always had a special driver pick him up from the airport. I know the people who picked him up. He also had a car while on island so I think Jacobson has designed himself a good story.

Edited to say TRW, man you seem to be in the wrong places...Glad those guys didn't get anything on you. Sorry you got a shiner.

How so refreshing in such a John Wayne sort of way. Seems like trw did nothing wrong other than defending himself and yet took matters into his own hands and walked away. Yes, I am some what startled but I don't think that this post is harboring a criminal. Looks like this recent deadbeat didn't file a complaint.

Molly, I hope you (and others) didn't think I was upset with trw at all for what he did - which I guess he DID do?!? - I was actually in shock but very impressed. I have mace, and I'd use it in a second if I needed to, but I also have a knife in my purse at all times and I've always said there was no way I could actually stab somebody (the combat is so close! what if he takes the knife? etc), which is why I carry the mace.

Speaking of which, any advice on how to pack/bring my mace from mn to stx without being arrested?

TRW==new DMV rules, the car has to be there for inspection now. You can still have someone do it for you but they must take the vehicle.

just got into town, the tim dropped me off at the bottom of the beast so i could hitch over to the cab stand at the main road,so i walked up the beast and stopped at the top to look around been a few years since i walked it but god it's just beautiful up there you never really notice the beauty when you're driving, you can see for miles, then i started walking again and walked past all the old ruins and over the old bridges past the golf course and was starting down the green tunnel when one of the customers from the cafe stopped and picked me up and got to the main road, got a cab went to radio shack and got my phone replaced because my new one got smashed on friday night,i got the same number and it all only cost 25 bucks because everything had transferred over from my old phone, then i went to the sunny isle food court and had mcducks, first time i've ever seen the place even open, they have a dasani ice cream stand a mcducks and dominos and subway are on the way

trw,
Does that mean the handmade soap won't be made in the VI? Didn't the owner of Soaps and Scents make everything herself?

no she'll be making all her own stuff here but the ingredients will be from elsewhere just like the old place, and linda actually did sell the "soaps and scents business to a local woman that is opening her place over in golden rock,so there will be 2 handmade soap places on island

Think how clean we will all be! We always took gifts from Soaps and Scents to people off island. Love the products. We'll sure give the new lady a try.

I cannot keep clothes on my child. I feel that I spend all day putting clothes on him. As soon as my back is turned he is naked again. He hides his shoes so I don't put them on him. I am so frustrated. Most people feel vulnerable when they are naked. He feels liberated. Yesterday there were a group of people taking a walk down our street and all of a sudden JJ appears outside naked saying good morning. I wanted to beat him. I know it sounds funny but it isn't. The boy is almost 6. He cannot go around naked all the time. Even when he was a baby I had to duck tape his diapers on. I honestly don't know what to do. I have raised 5 children and I am at a loss on how to keep clothes on this child. Today I gave him a swat on his "naked backside". It broke his heart and mine as well. He promised to keep his clothes on after that but 30 minutes later he was naked again. Maybe we should move to a nudist camp. I buy him t he softest most light weight clothes I can find. Sorry folks, I am just venting. I guess we could have much worse problems than a naked 5 year old. At least he only does this at home. When we are out he keeps his clothes on. When we have guest he will run and put on underware. Sigh, maybe I am just getting too old and tired to raise such a free spirit.

Stiffed 5 times in 2 days! Sorry to hear, was it due to the fact you arrive in your 20's & leave in your 70's?? Breezes food isn't bad, but the service (no offence to you TRW) is SLOW.............a couple hrs at best, thus we never go there unless we need a nap before dinner - HA!

We have only been for brunch. Love the Eggs Benedict. We couldn't get in last Sunday (we never make a resv.), so we went to Golden Rail. OMG...we will make a reservation at Breezee's from now on...I didn't post in my ongoing restaurant review because it has to be a little boring, but it was not good. The Bennies, (and Abelskivers) $2.00 Mimosas/Bloody's, and the excellent service keep us coming back to Breezee's!

TRW,
If you work Sunday Brunch, we promise not to stiff you!!!:D
