Who has the best STX Sunday Brunch? Carambola, Rumrunners, Hibiscus or any others.

Which is actually a breakfast-type buffet?

Hello Kerry,

Haven't had breakfast-type buffets at the places you mentioned. I have eaten at Hibiscus and Rumrunners for dinner. Dinner was good at Hibiscus'. Rumrunners had great food and service.

The breakfast buffet at Buccaneer was very good - a bit pricey but very nice selection.

I work at the Mix (Seaborne end of the boardwalk in Christiansted) so this may sound biased but they have an incredible Sunday bunch buffet. I also like the brunch at Cane Bay Beach bar and Golden Rail Café.

I agree with Islander, the food and service at Rumrunners are great. They usually have a very good and well known steel pan musician playing at the Sunday Brunch. They also have a great happy hour. Check that out too!

Thanks for the tips. We ate quite a bit at Rumrunners on our previous visit and are looking forward to going there again but we did not make the Sunday brunch. We also did not go farther down the boardwalk toward Seaborne so we missed the Mix but we will definately try that in February. We had a hard time getting past Rumrunners menu! We enjoyed breakfast at The Golden Rail and also at Solitude on the East End. Solitude was the most reasonably priced breakfast we had. Most people post about dinner stops but not breakfast, which is one of our favorite meals to eat out.

Thanks again to all and if anyone else has any great breakfast stops, please post.

Try the Paradise Cafe for breakfast.

My vote is for Breezes. It's not a buffet (a real plus in my opinion) but has an incredible beach front view, $2 bloody mary's, and Great Benedicts (Lobster, salmon, etc.) And don't forget the wonderful "Abelskievers", or little Danish pancakes.

Where is the Paradise Cafe located? That one doesn't come to mind right away.
