And we're fretting over natural marijuana. This stuff appears to be deadly. Story was on national news tonight.

http://www.techtimes.com/articles/48760/20150425/spice-synthetic-marijuana-sends-hundreds-to-hospitals-what-should-you-know-about-this-dangerous-drug.htm

And I may be wrong, but is there a huge crystal method addiction/industry here? I saw one guy who was allegedly trying to steal some ingredients from KMart on St Thomas a few years a go, and the security guards beat him up pretty good outside the store.

Lots of things don't make the local "news."

People have always wanted to get "high". All the more reason to legalize all drugs and use monies for treatment and mental health. You could by K2 and Spice in Michigan for a long time (I think they have since banned it). At least we are now protecting the poppy fields in Afghanistan so that heroin deaths are up 150%. People are ALWAYS going to get drugs. If regulated and taxed there would be much less crime associated with dealing and more money to help those who need it IMO

Ha, ha! Since when has "banning" something stopped people from using it? Even some of the lawmakers who "ban" are users/abusers of something. Time to get real.

Synthetics are against the law in the VI. Amazingly enough the wording of the law is very well worded...

This stuff is really bad and they have synthetic cocaine too called bath salts... VERY BAD.. Google it...
I am a drug counselor and see this stuff really mess people up long term and permanently. So sad. Let's just say I am for legalization..
