This is in regard to the horses that were discussed at length last month. It NEEDs to be known by all the Christineg has caused much tension and unknown but surely grave damage to further horse rescues on St. Croix. She chose to use what LITTLE info she possessed to harm my efforts. I want to set the record straight.
The Man known as Fatty who she identified as owning the horses and therefore implying he was responsible was and is probably the ONLY reason I was able to help and ultimately relocate those two beautiful creatures. (As most of you know one died and after extensive research on my part we now know that the horse had at the least couple blood diseases and hence his extreme condition.)He is the one who initially took the time to help them. He was the one who trusted enough to believe that I had the horses best interest in mind.
Chris had NO right (and actually broke her word to me) to mention anyone's name. She had NO idea what she was talking about. And I want it to be known that according to everyone to whom I have been associated Fatty is a man who takes EXCELLENT care of his animals and his family. He is respected and admired by many.
I hope out of this mess people realize that it is extremely irresponsible to throw names and reputations around. I hope everyone and anyone who reads this understands the pain this has caused many people.
I can only hope that the truth will prevail and that this message spreads as fast as christineg's uninformed posts.
I am sincerely and deeply sorry for any and all responsibility I have in this. And to those who know Fatty Please Until I am able to reach him express my sorrow and regret and make sure he knows how grateful I am that he allowed me to help. Jami
