Hi guys,

Have a charter going out tomorrow and need a private taxi to pick them up - STT 9:40. I am used to paying $40 and the "public" taxis are quoting $75 for a private pickup. Anyone know of a good guy with a decent van/car? Four people to Yacht Haven Grande.

thanks!

Pamela

It`s 4 miles (according to Google earth).
1/2 is through the waterfront, so depending on the time/day, it could be 15 minutes, or 2 hours.
You would still need to get there(for me, it would be 7 miles, then another 2.5 back home).

The $75 is for a taxi to pickup just you and your party instead of taking the regular vans that are there. It saves the stopping at every resort/hotel on the way.

Who said there isn't any money in driving a taxi on St. Thomas?
