hi everyone!
i've been reading a lot of horror stories about st. johnians being unable to obtain telephone service from innovative in their homes. can anyone comment on this? i would like to know now if i'm going to have a problem getting phone service once i'm on island -- this would be a scary situtation, as i, like everyone else, have family and friends and my mother-in-law, who is in poor health, to keep in touch with back in the states.

I own a business over in Coral Bay and I had been waiting over 6 months for a couple of phone lines to get installed. A sales rep from Innovative happened to stop by my office and he explained that Innovative is in the process of upgrading all of there phone lines and fiber stuff and the problem is now resolved.
I got my phone line all set. I think he said most of the island was being revamped.
