Hello All,

Just a quick question. Are turkeys available for Thanksgiving or should we have family bring us one? (That would be kind of funny...) Anyway, I haven't seen much of meat selection, but I haven't been to every store. I have not seen any turkeys, so that is why I am asking. Thanks in advance.

It is very easy to find a turkey for Thanksgiving, since we celebrate it, albeit with a more West Indian culinary flavor haha...

Marina market and Cost you Less both carry them. I saw Turkeys just the other day at Cost You Less, I think they are there all the time.

Marina market seems to have the best meat selection I have seen so far.

Hello Teresa,

Thanks for the giggle!! 🙂 Good question! We celebrate thanksgiving with turkeys, stuffing, mash, rice, macaroni, sweet potato, pumpkin pie... so you will find it all 🙂 Pumpkin Pie mix in the can usually sells out quickly - so if you want that, buy it early. Turkeys are carried around Thanksgiving time by all the big grocery stores so no problem there. If you don't want to cook or are visiting; some resorts/restaurants will have special thanksgiving buffets and/or dinners. There are even turkey give away contests - you have to call the radio station and give your best gobble!!
