Good Hope is on the south shore almost at the western tip of St. Croix. There is a private school there (Good Hope School) and not much else. I suspect that the townhouses there were intended to house teachers and staff from the school. It seems like a quiet area. You would need a car- nothing is within walking distance (except the beach- not one of the better ones). I have never been inside one of the townhouses. If you can it would be better to come down for a week or two and look at several places before you commit. It's not that hard to find one or two bedroom places especially as summer approaches.

Thanks Cleric for your response

Thank you. I do plan to take a few days to look around. Do you know if there is a store or strip mall(plaza) within a short driving distance near the Good Hope Town Houses? I've gotten some discription of one of a townhouse for rent, but yes I do need to see places. I have not decided how soon I'll becoming back to seek housing but it will prbably within the next month. I will not have much time after that.

K-mart Sunshine Mall is less than five miles, Plaza Extra Supermarket maybe seven miles. Where will you be working?

The condo is on STX at Questa Verde 4-5 minutes from Christainsted, 1 bd, 1 ba, 1100 sq feet, brand new everything, we just bought it in March & it was empty. Kingsize bed, jacuzzi tub, AC but gets a great tradewind breeze thur the unit, security fence & gate, pool, has w/d in unit, 4 ceiling fans, TV/DVD/CD, very tropical decorations, antique hand carved West Indonisian wall screens in living room & bedroom. We will rent it vacation, short term or long term. We are new to being landlords, so we're not sure of the price yet we are thinking $1200/month but are still checking out the market. Interested?

Bu-bah,

thanks for the response. i'm not sure when my family is coming down to meet me, could be june, could be october. your unit sounds perfect for me if i find myself alone for a few months. although, with the description, it doesn't sound like it will be available for long! please keep in touch, if you can't find a tenant, it might work out for me. hope i run into you either way.

thanks so much,

beaner93 (jarred)

As they say 1st come 1st served. We do have a webpage that discribes our condo. Look at slherrin.tripod.com
It shows some photo's of our unit. Or if you have questions give us a call at home at 406-295-5511 or 509-210-0673, we're pretty laid back & would rather find a renter without going thur a management company, which might mean a lower rental per month. We do have the condo rented for May 2nd-9th, but we are open to looking at what ever your needs are. Let us know. Thanks.
