Don't worry. The GERS will get their money back just as quickly as they did from Carambola.

Oh, wait.... :S

Aaron Smith previously on the air clearly identified himself as VP of Tibbar and that CEO of TIBAR, Tania Tomyn is his wife:

See this account of the Hole in the Truck Gang which "AUSA Dighe obtained an indictment charging Smith and Carbeck with numerous violations including RICO (Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organization), a statute designed to prosecute organized crime which in effect Hi-Po had become. They were also charged with the predicate acts underlying a RICO charge: mail fraud; conspiracy; bribery; money laundering; intentional dumping of hazardous waste (violations of the Clean Water Act)". - See more at: http://www.ticklethewire.com/2013/10/21/the-hole-in-the-truck-gang/#sthash.QbgA011Q.dpuf

Can this be the same VP?

So... if you make some poor decisions a decade and a half ago (or more) you should be ruined for life and never attempt to do anything again?

I've met both Aaron and Tania, we had coffee and chatted for a while before going onto a radio program together. They are regular people, Aaron isn't here to try and ruin anything, simply take advantage of the current climate zeitgeist...

YOUR (anyone that actually does believe in anthropomorphic climate change)belief in "global warming" is what's pushing projects like this forward; why begrudge those that have enough drive to capitilize on it?

Poor decisions? 😮 Not the word I would use.
There seems to be a history of that with these particular entities.

How long you do expect someone to pay for their mistakes/poor decisions/stupid choices?

Like taking candy from a baby or maybe more like a match made in heaven with WAPA, WMA & TIBAR!
Guess time will tell and, hopefully, prove you right, LF, that people can indeed change but I won't be holdiing my breath.
It sure seems like there has been quite the history of shady and unethical dealings.
If it walks like a duck, etc.

Quack, Quack!*-)

Here's a Daily News article:
http://virginislandsdailynews.com/news/1.1708028

I especially liked that they are a "family run business" but they neglected to point out that 2 out of the 3 front runners in this particular family has criminal pasts/indictments. Arron and his wife's father, Walter, from the Michigan case.

Have to wonder if there's more "family" in Las Vegas?(td)

We're "talking" about the future of the VI. Public record states that these are a shady bunch! We don't need to "know" them to discuss the obvious. A leopard doesn't change it's spots. You registered on this board just to hush someone? Shame!

so... get rid of the prison system and just execute everyone, since they will never change, especially after 15 years......?

I dunno, this is sounding pretty judgmental.

I mean quite frankly, the whole thing is a global warming scam anyway (the green energy subsidy programs I mean) what are they really going to do here that you all are afraid of?

Don't know them, don't want to know them, don't care if you know them.
Only in the VI would our Government negotiate and give money to convicted felons.

Says a lot about the climate of corruption in the VI and why the VI Gov. is so broke they have to come up with new ways to wring every last dime out of the hardworking, taxpaying public, while our so called leaders and officials pad their pockets.

Looks like at least someone had the sense to deny Tibbar the loan from the retirement fund!!! What was GERS thinking in the first place Do they have anyone who does any kind of due diligence on these kinds of projects

Not saying it is a bad project, have not seen any numbers but it does not appear Tibbar rabbit has any experience AT ALL with this type of project

It is amazing what a website and a little money spread around can do
